Canadian novelist Lucy Maud Montgomery's original work "Anne of Avonlea", published in 1909, is a continuation of the work "Anne of Green Gables". The reader sees the already partially matured Anna Shirley, who has been teaching at her native village school for two years, opening the doors not only to knowledge, but also to an imaginary world for her students, where only dreamy souls can find true happiness. Through Anna, the reader also gets acquainted with the lifestyle and character of the people living in a small village called Avonlea, becomes a part of their exciting problems, as well as their romances that begin and end happily. And in the midst of all this, the main heroine rises, endlessly dreaming of a beautiful future.
