"The Right to Fight" summarizes Monte Melkonyan's important works, articles, and letters, which he wrote in the years 1981-91, underground and in prison, as well as during the Artsakh movement and the independence of Armenia. The book touches on the Artsakh issue, the partition of Armenia, the liberation of the Armenian homeland enclosed in Turkey, the resettlement of Diaspora Armenians in those lands, and the establishment of political sovereignty, which Monte studies from methodological, strategic, and organizational perspectives, based on his inviolable convictions about the right of Armenians to self-determination. In the book, brackets are opened critically regarding the activities and goals of the Armenian secret army for the liberation of Armenia.
