"The Transcaucasia and the Absheron Peninsula. The book "Travel Memoirs" is the result of young Galust Gulbenkyan's first cognitive trip to Transcaucasia, in which he presents Transcaucasia with its historical past, economic developments, as well as the description of the people and population living in those areas. Gulbenkian takes particular pains in describing and presenting the oil-producing Apsheron Peninsula. On this occasion, he makes observations of different natures and directions, which make the book more remarkable and interesting. Therefore, these and similar factors allow us to state that the publication is intended for a wide readership.
